This is bot Adobe's fault. CS6 is a 32-bit application, and Catalina only accepts 64-bit applications. So talk to Apple about this, or go back to your previous operating system. Well, actually, just getting around to reading this message, CS6 is 32 bit AND 64 bit on Windows, but 64 bit only on Macs. I'm running Mac OS Catalina with the latest photoshop 22.4.1. For the last month I could not figure out why ounce I closed photoshop it would not re open. Even after re installing all of adobe. I would have to restart the machine to open Photoshop. I used your advice to remove the graphics processor off of Camera Raw. Photoshop 20.0.6 and later versions work with macOS Catalina, but with a number of hiccups. As for legacy/perpetual versions of Photoshop, Adobe writes that they are “not supported in any way for use on macOS Catalina.” If you use Photoshop 20.0.6 and later and upgrade your system, here are the issues you might expect. Yesterday I purchased the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 upgrade (from an older Photoshop Elements 10 version) because the older version is not compatibl with Mac's OS Catalina 10.15.2. Now I find out the 2020 upgrade will not work on Catalina either! I feel I have been duped into buying the upgrade. Nov 14, 2019 Ok, I got access to photoshop's system info, and its as follows: Adobe Photoshop Version: 21.0.0 20191018.r.37 2019/10/18: 614690fb487 x64 Number of Launches: 1.
Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020, Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021, Adobe Premiere Elements 2020, and Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 work with macOS 10.15 (Catalina) but have these known compatibility issues.
